The planter keeps a constant amount of moisture in the soil, thanks to the cotton string provided in the kit, which transfers the water upwards from the bottom water container. It only needs a refill after 3-4 weeks, depending on the season.

The bottle planter was handcrafted from repurposed black beer bottles, diamond cut, sanded and polished, leaving a smooth finish with no rough or sharp edges.

The cork stripes decorating the glass edges provide a gentle fitting between upper planter vase and bottom water container, for further protection.
